Neil Crumpton

B.Eng. (Hons) C.Eng. MIET MInstLM MCCT MASE

Neil is an experienced educator and consultant with over 21 years of experience in the field of education, specializing in Science and Computer Science. With a robust background in teaching Physics and Computer Science, he has dedicated 16 years to inspiring students in the classroom and 5 years to enhancing educational practices through consultancy. His current work focusses on curriculum development, teacher training and cross-curricular STEM education.
 
Neil has worked with STEM Learning and The National Centre for Computing Education; he is an ENTHUSE coach, STEM Ambassador and facilitator for Science and Computing.
 
Having started out as a real-time embedded software engineer in Telecomms R&D Neil was involved in the development and implementation of ADSL and Fibre to the Home.
 
Alongside all of this he tutors, runs a geeky gift and clothing company and is a scout leader.

Dale Jones

B.Sc (QTS), M.Sc.

 

Dale has worked in education since 1996 in maths and computing.  He has been a classroom teacher, head of department and local authority advisor, he worked for the National Strategies as a consultant and has been a Subject Matter Expert and Hub Lead for the National Centre for Computing Education.

 

Having led school improvement strategies in computing infrastructure, curriculum delivery and staff training his dedication both in and out of the classroom has inspired students and staff alike. 

 

Current work includes development of STEM education, computing curriculum development and staff training across educational trusts.

 

In his downtime Dale is a qualified Coastal Skipper and sails around Wales, as well as chairing one of the largest and busiest wargaming clubs in England. He also runs a small 3D printing and designing business.
